Role Overview

A renowned coastal restaurant in Ireland is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sous Chef to lead and inspire its kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to bring leadership, creativity, and excellence to a high-quality kitchen while working with fresh, local ingredients

Key Responsibilities

✔ Kitchen Leadership: Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations, maintaining high culinary standards.
✔ Team Management & Training: Lead, mentor, and develop the kitchen team, ensuring efficiency and growth.
✔ Culinary Execution: Oversee the preparation, cooking, and plating of all dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
✔ Menu Development: Contribute to menu innovation, creating new dishes and daily specials.
✔ Stock & Inventory Management: Manage stock control, ordering, and ingredient storage for efficiency.
✔ Hygiene & Safety: Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
✔ Operational Leadership: Take charge of kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
✔ Service Coordination: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

Who We’re Looking For
✔ Experience: Extensive experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality kitchen.
✔ Leadership & Team Management: Ability to train, mentor, and inspire a team of chefs.
✔ Culinary Expertise: Strong cooking techniques, food preparation, and plating skills.
✔ Creativity & Innovation: Passion for menu development and new dish creation.
✔ Efficiency & Multitasking: Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced kitchen.
✔ Passion for Excellence: Commitment to delivering outstanding food and dining experiences.
✔ Flexibility: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Accommodation Options
Affordable on-site accommodation tailored to individual needs:
✔ Single Room (Shared Bathroom): €70 per month (utilities not included)
✔ Single Room (En-Suite Bathroom): €100 per month (utilities not included)
✔ Twin Room (Shared Bathroom): €90 per month (€45 per person)
✔ Twin Room (En-Suite Bathroom): €120 per month (€60 per person)
