    FREQUENTLY ASKED
    QUESTIONS BY CANDIDATES

In this section, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions we get asked here at EU Workforce

No. There is no fee to join and register with the EU WorkForce. We only need your CV and Passport. There is no cost at any stage to collaborate with EU WorkForce.

We need to receive a full detailed CV in English, in WORD FORMAT.We will need work references, certificates of courses and awards achieved, cover letters explaining the type of work you wish to source with us.Please see our "How to register document" for full details on this registration process.

We can only process candidates from EU/EEA countries.NON-EU/EEA candidates we cannot process now as this requires a Visa application system that unfortunately we cannot support now.

EU/EEA candidates from 18 to 55 years of age can apply.

You may travel with family and kids but it makes the whole relocation more complicated in the initial set up in the EU as accommodation for families can be expensive and difficult to source. Our advice in the first 3-6 months is to travel alone, if possible, to reduce your initial relocation costs and give you a chance to source long term accommodation. The accommodation is for staff only, not for family members.

All accommodation offers and costs will be described in relation to job offer and availability by theemployer.

This depends on which EU Country you will work in.This depends on salary, hours worked, status of family if you are single person or family with spouse and kids. We will provide more information at the job offer stage based on which country you are going to be working. On average about 20% of salary is a good estimate.

We need candidates with a minimum experience of 1-3 years as we also have entry level jobs. Clearly the more experience you have the better job we can source for you with better paying conditions. Please speak to us or your agent to review job offers available to you.

Flight booking, payment and confirmation is the responsibility of the candidate applying for the job and the cost is to be paid by the candidate. From time to time, we will promote the possibility of receiving inbound flight/travel refund, please see our job advertising to review all terms and conditions of job offers.

All our candidates MUST have basic English language skills as a minimum requirement. For hospitality back of house/kitchen work a standard entry level English could be sufficient but this depends on company/job responsibility. For front of house positions like waiters/bar staff you must have excellent language skills. Please see the job description for full details in relation toEnglish language requirements.

We collaborate with over 500+ companies in Ireland and Europe, so we always have options for our candidates. Clearly, we need to identify with the candidate prior to travelling to Europe whatthe best job might be for them, it is important that the candidate review our job specs andcompany information prior to agreeing to an interview and trial.

The final job offer will be made by the EU employer directly to the candidate after the finalinterview stage. Our Agency will support you to prepare for interviews. It is the candidate’s responsibility to perform at an interview to secure jobs. All candidates will receive job offers prior to leaving their country of origin and travelling to Europe.

A video call will be arranged by us as we are responsible for the sourcing of potential candidates from EU/EEA for our EU clients. Certain clients may request a skype interview with the candidate and we can look to set this up, but the final job proposal will only be made by the employer to the candidate after the final interview or trial. The contract is between our candidate and the employer, your employment contract will not be with Agency/EU WorkForce.

Your employer will also support in sourcing long term accommodation in the job location area. All our EU jobs will have some sort of accommodation support. Pleasespeak to your agent and review job descriptions to see all accommodation support offered by us and our EU employers.

This can happen, but what is important is communication with us. We can look to speak to your current employer and improve working conditions and fix problems that might exist, or we can help you to source a better job for you. We can try to assist with communication with your employer and support you, or if required, based on circumstances, source a more suitable job for you. This will be done on a case-by-case basis
